67th Journey

To my Grand kids and other relatives. On Jan 28th we went to a fine and fun wedding. Sam Whitson and Hannah Cable got Married in Richardson, Tex. (N Dallas). Madell and I along with dau Dawn from Austin, – came and went with us. The wedding was in the Woodcreek Church. Then we all went to the Swinging D Ranch in Parker about 7 miles away for a great reception with lots of good food and dancing. They had a good D J that kept the music and other things going up until & after we left to come home. All of the Johnnie and Lahoma Whitson families were there except Connor Cascante. Ken and Susan and their other 4 were there, except Connor. Mac and Karen and their other 5 were there. Neal and Amy and their other 10 were there including Sam. Now Hannah is added to the mix.

It was great to see all of them and visit at the wedding and reception.
Dovle estimated that there was around 250 at both places. We all had a good time dancing – All of Neal’s family especially had a good time dancing.
Sam’s bro Jacob was best man and bro John and John’s son Jeffrey were groomsmen. Allison Tirado – niece of Sam was flower girl and Lucas Tirado – nephew of Sam was ring bearer.
John’s wife, Alice was the scripture reader.
Hannah had many more family and friends in the wedding than Sam did.
Sam and Hannah are moving to Washington – (Fairfax, Va) – shortly. He works for Dell Computers, and is being sent up there for a year, for a special job – as I understand it.
Sara Kate and Esteban Tirado are moving to Australia with Chevron for a 4 year hitch in the near future.
